LAYAWAY PROGRAMS AND TIME PAYMENTS

RARE MILITARIA is pleased to offer customers the ability to purchase its products or services via a lay away or time payment plan. To take advantage of this, the client will be required to tender a non refundable deposit to RARE MILITARIA in a sum equal to ten percent (10%) of the overall value of the contemplated purchase, with the unpaid balance being completely satisfied in a maximum of up to six (6) months in equal installments made on the 15th day of each month following the original sale.

As an integral element of this program, RARE MILITARIA reserves the right to charge customers utilizing its time payment program a ten percent (10%) per annum surcharge on any orders which are not paid for in full within the six (6) month maximum term identified above.

All merchandise being purchased by customers utilizing either RARE MILITARIA's lay away or time payment options shall remain in the sole custody of our firm until the full amount of the purchase, together with any due interest, and/or other applicable charges are paid in full.

While RARE MILITARIA's standard seven (7) day inspection and return policy, previous identified in this section, is fully applicable to customer purchases made using our layaway and time payment options, we reserve the right to require all such customers to bear responsibility for all shipping charges involved.

We may similarly require customers to forfeit the full amount of the original non refundable deposit paid by them, in any circumstance where we reasonably believe that the return in question is not due to concerns regarding our product(s), but rather, exclusively involves frivilous or capricious issues which, to RARE MILITARIA's sole discretion, has unfairly resulted in the loss of our ability during the term of the payment program to sell the item(s) in question to another qualified buyer.

SHIPPING CHARGES

All sales prices are expressed on an fob Bellingham, Washington basis, with any freight charges involved being solely the customer's responsibility to satisfy on a prepaid basis prior to shipment. Domestic U.S. orders will be shipped via the U.S. Post Office's Priority Mail Service as a standard practice, unless the customer specifically requests their order to be fulfilled in an alternative manner, to include Federal Express or U.S. Postal Service Express Mail.

Regardless of the shipping method chosen, RARE MILITARIA reserves the right to require all shipments to be made with package tracing and customer signature on receipt options to be included as standard actions, whether they require the payment of additional charges by the customer or not. While insurance on all shipments is strongly recommended, RARE MILITARIA will not insure a shipment if the customer elects in writing to waive this opportunity. In the absence of any stated customer preference, RARE MILITARIA will insure all shipments to the full value of the purchase price involved.

All non US orders will be shipped via either Federal Express or US Global Priority Mail Service depending on the buyer's wishes. Insurance, tracing and customer signature on receipt will be required for all shipments where possible. Where not available or refused by the customer, the buyer agrees to waive any claims against RARE MILITARIA for either damage to the product(s) involved, and/or for articles lost during shipment.
