GENERAL MISSION STATEMENT

RARE MILITARIA utilizes its best efforts at all times to provide its clients with the highest quality products and services. It is the common goal of our various programs to enhance the knowledge, satisfaction and enjoyment derived by our customers in pursuing a hobby of collecting of military artifacts.

In keeping with that intention, and to avoid any unnecessary misunderstandings or customer service complaints, the following terms and conditions are herewith noted as being applicable to all sales made by RARE MILITARIA to any customer.

PRODUCTS AND SERVICES WARRANTIES

As a condition of purchasing products and services from RARE MILITARIA, the client acknowledges its understanding that the representation(s) by our firm, or any source where collectible items are concerned, are always based on the state of the art and level of knowledge available at the time such pronouncements are made.

Similarly, the customer further confirms his or her realization that RARE MILITARIA cannot be aware of all efforts undertaken by unscrupulous parties to fraudulently manufacture and sell current made reproductions of original historic pieces and that, like any collector, it is always subject to being fooled from time to time by well financed and professional efforts of this nature.

Consequently, the customer is encouraged to always solicit other opinions before making any transaction and to refrain from basing any decision(s) to purchase or sell military artifacts solely on the representations of any single source, to include RARE MILITARIA. Consistent with that recommendation, and as an integral condition of all sales, the customer agrees to indemnify RARE MILITARIA, as well as its management or any third parties it may consult on the customer's behalf, and to hold them all collectively harmless from any liability that may otherwise result from, and/or are based on, errors or omissions made by them in good faith in selling or researching military collectibles.

To that end, all items marketed by RARE MILITARIA to its clients are sold on a best faith - as is - basis. In selling military artifacts, RARE MILITARIA attempts to fairly and accurately represent the condition of each individual piece via extensive written explanations and extensive photos. Consequently, the written description identified in this website represents the sole basis of the sale, with no other warranties, expressed or implied, being construed as being operative under any circumstances.

In view of the often incomplete or unreliable nature of known or available data in the field of military artifact research and collecting, RARE MILITARIA regrets that it cannot always warrant the complete accuracy of its work product in all situations. As such, we have established a seven (7) day inspection period following any sale for the purpose of giving the buyer the chance to inspect and return any item(s) for refund that are inconsistent with the level of quality or originality they anticipated.

All consulting and research services provided by RARE MILITARIA to its clients are similarly performed on a best effort basis. While we regret and apologize for errors, and/or incomplete information, unfortunate gaps in existing records and other issues beyond the control of RARE MILITARIA can always lead to erroneous conclusions. Remember, there was a time when everyone in Europe believed the Earth was flat, or that it was okay for doctors to bleed their patients.
