Cigaretten Bilderdienst (Cigarette Picture
Service) in Hamburg in 1936 to celebrate
the recently held Berlin Olympic games.
Each of the books is twelve inches (12")
tall by ten inches (10") wide by one an one
fourth inches (1 1/4") thick and are in
excellent condition with only minor wear
appearing at the corners and small scuff
spots on their blue cloth colored covers

and black colored "OLYMPIA 1936" titles
on each book is undamaged. Moreover
both books contain their full compliment of
original numbered photographs that have
been individually glued into their proper
spots, with none appearing to be creased
or damaged in any way.
ABOVE is a full frontal view of the blue cloth covers of both books showing the title and the gold embossed Olympic bell on each. BELOW LEFT is one of the many full page (10" by 12") color and black and white printed photos and full color artist illustrations which are found in each book. In this particular one, the Airship Hindenburg (LZ 129) is seen flying over the Olympic Stadium in Berlin. BELOW RIGHT Der Fuhrer officially opens the 1936 Berlin summer games.
