Appearing to be a size 55 or 56, this particular hat was manufactured in the same green colored wool variation that is normally associated with SD, SS Polizei Division and other specialty Waffen SS Field Police units. Moreover, it was manufactured with two parallel lines of Bordeau Red (Bordorot) colored piping running along its top crown that denote the wearer was either a member of the Waffen SS Legal Service, the Waffen SS Judge Advocate General's Office or was engaged in providing security services for the highly secret German Rocket Development Units (Werfer-Einheit).
