75 GENERAL ASSAULT BADGE NAMED TO KNIGHT'S CROSS WINNER HAUPTMANN ROLF DUE ON 20 APRIL 1945
Participating in the invasion of Russia on 22 June 41, Hauptmann Due's continuous service on the Eastern Front to the very end of the war was exemplary and earned him not only this award, but the Knight's Cross as well, which he received on 23 March 1945.
He finished the war as a battalion commander.
